~Yes, I took YET another picture of YET another flower; but there are so many here that probably won't be in Colorado (at least in my backyard) so if you can handle it- here's one more. I know it's a little out of focus in the center, but it actually doesn't look all that bad in my opinion...

Hey, out of focus is ok, the parts that are in focus is amazing, such detail. Like i said time for something different, outside of the tiny world. I suppose the dog picture broke the pattern a little. I understand your fascination with flowers, i made 4-5 conscious decisions to not put flowers as my picture of the day during spring so as not to over do it... but i like em!
Oh, and if you really want the depth of field with your macro pics, try stopping down the aperture... check out the manual and experiment with the full manual mode. you can have a lot of fun getting to know your camera. the more mistakes you make, the better you get!
I think it looks cool that the "hairy" parts of the flower go in and out of focus. Yay for small DOF and shooting wide open! :) I love flower pictures. Theyr'e pretty much my favorite thing to shoot.
